Now as a college student, Ichigo doesn't have to worry about a school uniform, so he'll primarily wear whatever feels the most comfortable that day. The most notable outfit he'll dawn most frequently is a pair of skinny jeans, a tighter sweatshirt, a pair of slip-on sneakers, and a pair of wireless headphones around his neck so he can listen to music in between classes.His Shinigami outfit is identical to what he wore after training at the Soul King's palace. Ichigo wears his standard black shihakushō, but with some notable changes: he has two white shoulder plates crossing his chest in an X shape that hold his Shikai blades in place, with the first plate on his left shoulder having three sections adorned with red scales, the second plate having three sections adorned with red scales on his right waist, and a white cloak with black markings tied around his waist.

Personality

Ever since his teenage years, Ichigo has been stubborn, short-tempered, strong-willed, and impulsive. While he tries to act like he has a detached and "cool" image, he tends to be quick to fight against someone if they're willing to try and pick a fight with him. He's incredibly compassionate towards others in need and won't hesitate to go to someone's side if they're in trouble. Ichigo as a whole sticks to the meaning of his name that his mom told him when he was young, which is "One Who Protects" and is quick to make sure he can be the best guardian he can be for those he cares most about.Ichigo is also incredibly astute and intelligent, as shown from his higher grades throughout high school. He wasn't one to dedicate his entire life to his studies, but considering the bad reputation he earned for himself thanks to people wanting to pick fights with him, he made sure to keep his grades up to make sure he could dissolve that reputation when it mattered.Though he likes to keep up a cool demeanor, he's not very good at talking to women when they decide to try and flirt with him in any way, shape, or form. He's been known to quickly blush and become rather uncomfortable in these kind of situations.While Ichigo is quick to give respect to his friends and those who have earned it from him, he is rather quick to be disrespectful towards those older than him, regardless of who they are or how much power they might have compared to himself.When it comes to fighting, Ichigo has a very obscure attitude about how he's going to take on an enemy. At one point in a fight, he may refuse help from others and strive to win the fight legitimately and fairly. At another, he may belittle and taunt his opponent before acting in a cruel, vengeful manner towards them. The biggest error an enemy could make in his eyes is for an enemy to do anything negative towards one of their own allies. In Ichigo's eyes, an ally or a friend matters more than his own life and would sooner put his life on the line than let one of his friends get hurt in his stead.

History

Ichigo's history remained primarily the same to the history we know. The biggest difference is, at the end of the Thousand Year Blood War, when he struck down Yhwach with Zangetsu, an anomaly occurred that would alter this world's Ichigo compared to the history we know. In a last ditch effort to keep his consciousness alive, Yhwach would actually take the last remaining vestiges of his powers and try to merge them with Zangetsu. It was the only remaining option the Almighty had and the hope was that, instead of "dying", he might be able to instead store his consciousness within Ichigo's Zanpakuto until he could absorb enough energy to come back to a physical form. The thing that Yhwach couldn't have fathomed was how much Spiritual Pressure that Ichigo was still pumping out as he made that final swing of his sword. Because of the outburst of power that Ichigo was using, instead of his consciousness being stored within Zangetsu, Zangetsu would actually take and absorb all of the remaining power that Yhwach had and turn it back into power for Ichigo himself. It was an unfortunate miscalculation on the Almighty's part and, as Ichigo finished his swing, Yhwach would vanish forever.Ichigo had felt something happen to him in that moment that Zangetsu absorbed his enemy's power, but he couldn't exactly tell what happened. It almost was as if a hole in his very being was filled once again, but it wasn't exactly all the way there again. Almost as if it was asleep, recovering slowly...

After the fight with Yhwach, a couple of years would pass. Ichigo would go on to graduate high school, grow his hair out to around the same length it was right after the final fight against Aizen, start college at a nearby university, and continue on with his normal duties as a Substitute Soul Reaper. It seemed like the world had entered a new level of peace after Yhwach had been killed and the only threat seemed to be normal low level Hollows. It stayed this while for a good 3 years after the War and all the while, Ichigo had continued trying to figure out what he wanted to do next with his life. Turns out, he was able to take easily to different languages, especially English. So, a road to the career of being a Corporate Translator was the one he decided to take.It took a while for him to get his degrees that he needed and to get a decent job lined up. While he finished his college education, however, there was a single instance of when the long-term peace seemed at risk.

During one summer, Ichigo was walking back to his apartment when he felt a familiar spiritual pressure nearby. As he was about to turn and look towards it, a sudden blue arrow made of pure Reishi would fly just past his face, narrowly missing him by inches. The look of shock on Ichigo's face would instantly become one of anger as he would snap towards the person who fired the arrow."WHAT THE HELL, ISHIDA?!?! YOU NEARLY COULD'VE KILLED ME!!!"A smug grin from the Quincy as he would jump from the building he was on top of to meet his friend on the ground below. As Uryu Ishida would adjust his glasses after the landing, he would walk up to Ichigo. "Please. If I was aiming to kill you, that arrow wouldn't have missed and you know it. Not that I'm sure I even could harm you anymore after everything that happened years ago in Soul Society." The smug grin would disappear as he would have a more serious look come over his features."We have a problem. We've got to make a trip."Ichigo would calm down as his features would mirror Uryu's serious looks."Where are we going this time?"As Ichigo asked his question, Uryu would pull out his phone and unlock it before scrolling for a moment. Then, facing it towards the orange haired man, a surveillance video from the hospital roof would start to play. A video of Uryu facing off against what looked like a Vasto Lorde. A powerful looking one, at that. As Uryu would finish off the advanced Hollow, Ichigo's eyes would widen as one detail caught his attention."An Arrancar...?! But, I thought that the only ones left were Nel, Tier, and Grimmjow?!?" As Ichigo's surprised outburst would ring out, Uryu would put a finger to his lips to try and get his best friend to quiet down. "They thought they were too...I went over to Urahara's Shop after that fight. He had helped them to get Las Noches fixed back up after the War from when the Quincy army attacked. In doing so, he set them up with all sorts of new tech to make it possible for them to keep in contact with us and vice versa. And they were just as surprised as you are when I told them I fought an Arrancar."Ichigo would take a step back and run his hands through his hair before crossing his arms and looking back up to the Quincy. "Alright....well, a couple of Arrancar shouldn't be an issue. We'll knock em down a few inches, just like we did when we stormed Las Noches to get Inoue back." Uryu would then shake his head. "That's the problem, Ichigo. These guys are stronger than the original Arrancar. Way stronger. I got lucky against that one. He wasn't expecting a Quincy. Apparently a rumor around Hueco Mundo was going around telling all the Hollows that the Quincy had all been eradicated. This one was stronger than the Espada before. This one was near on par with Haschwalth and you remember how tough that fight was for me, even with my Schrift. After I told them about what was going on, Tier took Nelliel on a recon mission to find out if there was more. They found hundreds of Arrancar, all of them significantly stronger than the one I fought. While they were out there, Tier believes she overheard their leader talking about plans to invade the World of the Living before then taking to the Soul Society. They want to rule all the realms, Ichigo. And they're willing to feed on more human souls to be able to do it."Ichigo would look towards the ground before he would let out a sigh. "....Then we give them hell. Before they can get any stronger, before they can try and hurt anyone. The Espada know where they're at, so we go to Hueco Mundo, we find these bastards, and we end them." Uryu would raise an eyebrow at Ichigo's response. "We? So, you're not going to charge on by yourself, telling me it's too dangerous for me to go with you?" Ichigo would shake his head, letting a small grin come across his face as he looked back to his friend. "Nah, not this time. I know better than to tackle an entire army of Arrancar by myself, even if I could potentially take them all on solo. If they were to somehow gang up on me, I'd be screwed before I could even know it."The pair would then set off, taking off to Urahara's Shop so they would be able to be able to use his Garganta to get into Hueco Mundo.

After arriving in Hueco Mundo, Uryu and Ichigo would first make their way over to Las Noches. Once there, Ichigo would receive an overly energetic welcome from Nelliel, while only getting a scowl Grimmjow and a more formal greeting from Tier. After a brief discussion as to why they were all there, the 5 of them would set off to make their way over towards where the army of Arrancar had set up their base. It took several hours for them to traverse the desert of Hueco Mundo and to make sure that they wouldn't be seen on their way there. Last thing they wanted was to alert the army of their presence before they were able to make a plan.Once they finally arrived, Ichigo's eyes would scan over what felt like a sea of Arrancar. It was a little overwhelming how many of them there were and how strong they all felt while together. That's when he suddenly felt a surge of pressure, significantly stronger than the rest, on top of a rock tower on the edge of the army. It was fairly obvious that this one was the head Arrancar. "So, what's the plan? You guys want me to just let loose a Getsuga Jūjishō on the army so we can cut down probably at least half of these guys or do we want to focus more on the leader first?"Before anyone could think to answer, Uryu immediately chimed in. "Ichigo, I thought to do a Getsuga Jūjishō you had to have the version of Zangetsu that gave you two blades? Didn't that power get taken from you by Yhwach...?" Ichigo would look towards the Quincy, an eyebrow raised, before pointing to his back and hip. "Ishida, you telling me you seriously never noticed the entire trip from Urahara's to here? Look. I have the twin blade version of Zangetsu on me right now." With a look of shock suddenly plastered on his features, Uryu would once again adjust his glasses. "How the hell is this possible, Ichigo?!? You told me Yhwach stole all of your Hollow and Quincy powers!!" Ichigo would scratch his head before shrugging his shoulders. "Your guess is as good as mine, Ishida. I wasn't able to use this version of Zangetsu for the longest time. I had only the large one sword version for at least a good two or three years. Then suddenly, one day when I was tracking down a Hollow near our old high school, I felt dizzy. I passed out right in the middle of the road, only to wake up a while later with both swords of Zangetsu in my hands. I think that maybe, somehow Zangetsu was able to get his powers back when I killed Yhwach...but I have no idea how he was able to do it." The Quincy would stay silent while looking to the ground after the explanation before then putting his attention back to his friend. "Does that mean you have access to that form you described to me? The one with the Hollow horn that you used against Yhwach?" Ichigo would look towards Uryu again before nodding. "Yeah, of course it does. Not that it'll be super easy for me to actually go into that form though. Why the hell does that matter....?" An adjustment of his glasses, Uryu would grin before looking back to his friend. "I have an idea. It's a risk, but it just might work if we can make it work."The sea of Arrancar was suddenly disrupted by three massive pitch black waves of energy that were launched by the Espada. Tier, Nelliel, and Grimmjow were all on a desert hill in their released states and had all launched a Cero Oscuras at the same time. While it did do some damage to the sea, it wouldn't be enough for hardly any of the army of Arrancar to get seriously injured, let alone killed. As the entire army would focus their attention on the 3 last Espada, Ichigo and Uryu were working on something different on the opposite side of where the action was taking place. "Focus, Ichigo!! If we don't do this soon, then the Espada are as good as dead!!" Ichigo would grit his teeth, focusing his spiritual pressure, before snapping at Uryu. "Dammit, Ishida, I'm trying!! Shut up and lemme focus!!"Suddenly, just when the Arrancar army were about to take and overwhelm the three last Espada members, a veil of darkness would overtake the area. It stayed that way for only a second before a massive pillar of blue light would erupt in the middle of the wave of Arrancar. The pillar, made of pure Reishi, decimated 70% of the army within a blink of an eye. The leader of the Arrancar that sat on the large tower would jump into action, rushing towards the sky where a single lone figure was hovering far above the action."I'll use all of the power in me....to destroy you!!"A single statement from a transformed Ichigo Kurosaki...this time, in a form unlike that of which he ever had ever been seen in before. The black shihakushō split at four corners by his hips, a white break in it going up by his torso with light blue digital looking markings while being hidden behind black crosses. It was a culmination of all of his powers, just like the form he took against Yhwach. This time...his Quincy powers took the driver's seat and were the more predominant element in his transformation.

As the Arrancar army leader would continue to rush towards the newly transformed Ichigo Kurosaki, the orange haired man would pull together energy into his palm. Some of the energy would form into the shape of a manji, similarly to the crossguard of his old Bankai. As the power would grow, the Arrancar leader got closer and closer until he was in near striking distance of the Substitute Shinigami. Just as he got close enough, Ichigo would let loose an arrow of spiritual power that was a culmination of all of his powers. The black, white, and blue swirl went straight through the Arrancar leader, instantly disintegrating him before then rocketing down towards the desert below just as quickly. As it hit the sand below, another pillar would form, near identical to the first. The only difference was, this one would immediately expand over the entirety of the battlefield, stopping just before the edge of the hill where the 3 Espada were at."Getsuga....Messattsu."All of the remaining Arrancar on the battlefield were instantly annihilated within seconds. It almost seemed unfair, for two attacks from Ichigo to be all it took for the battle against this Arrancar army to be all it took to end the fight before it ever really began. As the light from his attack receded before evaporating completely, Ichigo would float back towards the battleground below. As his feet would feel the sand beneath them, another flash of darkness before suddenly he reappeared in his Shikai form. Falling to his knees with sweat dripping from his forehead, Ichigo would be brought back up to his feet thanks to Uryu....and surprisingly Grimmjow as well."You took your sweet ass time saving us, asshole. Next time you decide to come get rid of a bunch of those fucks, how bout you at least let me know in advance so I can make sure to wear a fancy outfit in case I nearly get killed again?"* The Pantera Espada would remark as Ichigo would weakly look to him with an irritated look in his eyes. "Yeah, well, you just try mastering a form that has three separate energy sources within minutes and tell me how easy it is, jackass." With an adjustment of his glasses, Uryu would try to change the focus of the subject. "Regardless of how long it took you, you managed an impressive feat by taking care of all of them within seconds after, Ichigo....had you not managed to gain that form, I believe even with your true Bankai, we may have even struggled some against that horde."After a brief discussion, the group would make their way back to Las Noches. Ichigo would recover enough of his energy to walk on his own towards the end, and Uryu and himself would make their way back to the World of the Living shortly after. With his powers better figured out, this wouldn't be the last time Ichigo would put his powers all into one new form. Nor would it be the last he ever focused on using his Quincy powers. In fact, after getting back to the World of the Living, Ichigo and Uryu would train diligently to help Ichigo grow and mature his Quincy abilities more as time went on.It would, however, be the last time for a while that he would have to get dragged into any major battles like that. That was the nice thing about long-term peace, after all.

The rest of his abilities are listed below and may be updated over time:Shadow: A Quincy ability that allows Ichigo to teleport himself and others using shadows. This ability was one that was naturally gained thanks to his Quincy powers being restored, though if Ichigo attempts to use it too often or for too far of a distance, he may end up passing out. He still has yet to fully master this ability.Ransōtengai: A high level Quincy ability that Uryu taught Ichigo after the discovery of his Quincy powers being restored. It allows for Ichigo to control various parts of his body by using strings of Reiryoku controlled by his brain, forming lines of Reishi. Even if Ichigo's body were to get severely injured, he would be able to utilize this technique to continue to fight temporarily. Although Ichigo knows this technique, he's still working on trying to better his Reiatsu Control and can only use it for a couple of minutes at a time.

WEAPONS/ITEMS•Zangetsu - Zangetsu is Ichigo's Zanpakuto. It's as much a part of him as he is. Whenever Ichigo becomes a Soul Reaper, Zangetsu is immediately and always on his person. It may transform based around what kind of powers Ichigo unleashes at the time, but for the most part, it's in a twin blade form. One of the swords is significantly longer, to keep opponents from getting up into his face if he doesn't want them to be. The other blade was about half the length, good for when Ichigo did get up close to his opponent.•Substitute Shinigami Badge - The badge that Ukitake gave Ichigo after he rescued Rukia from execution in the Soul Society. It allows Ichigo to separate his soul from his body and to take on his Soul Reaper form at will, giving him the ability to fight whenever and wherever he might be.
